IPT (Australia) personnel attended this
years SEMA Show in Los Vegas,
Nevada in November. This is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world but
unfortunately is not open to the general public. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products
to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. As part of the AAIW, the SEMA Show attracts more than 100,000
industry leaders from more than 100 countries interested in the automotive, truck and SUV, and RV markets.
Attendance at SEMA was expected to exceed the 2009 event which drew more than 50,000 domestic and international
buyers. The displays were segmented into 12 sections, and a New Products Showcase featured nearly 1,500 newly
introduced parts, tools and components. In addition, the SEMA Show provided attendees with educational seminars
and product demonstrations.
